Klipsch Audio Technologies Company Description As one of the first U.S. loudspeaker companies, Klipsch Audio Technologies has been building no-compromise, premium-quality audio products since 1946. Humbly founded by legendary audio pioneer Paul W. Klipsch in a tin shed in Hope, Arkansas, Klipsch is now a highly regarded global brand and technology powerhouse, selling hundreds of thousands of speakers across borders and cultures. In 1989, Paul’s cousin Fred S. Klipsch and his wife Judy purchased the company and moved business operations to Indianapolis, Indiana, while keeping manufacturing and distribution in Hope.
